Research Programs and Centers

We have faculty across the Twin Cities and Duluth campuses conducting research in the following programs and centers:

Healthy Eating and Activity Across the Lifespan (HEAL) addresses weight-related health disparities through the integration of research, clinical practice, policy and community resources.

The Program in Health Disparities Research seeks to promote health equity through collaborative research, education, and trusted partnerships.

The Program in Human Sexuality is revolutionizing the sexual and gender climate by eliminating barriers and advancing healthy sexuality. It offers leaderships in sexuality research, education, clinical care, and advocacy to promote positive sexual and gender health for all.

The Tobacco Research Programs conduct studies on tobacco dependence and the health effects of tobacco use, such as the effectiveness of nicotine gum and the nicotine patch.
