Medical school: Des Moines University
Residency: University of Minnesota - St. Joseph's Family Medicine
Specialty interest: I love gymnastics and was a gymnast growing up.
Family: My husband and I spoil our 5 year old German Shepherd named Asta.
Hobbies: I love to work out and am an avid Orangetheory Fitness member. I also have a terrible sweet tooth, and love donuts. I spend my free time spending time with my husband and trying new restaurants. I enjoy cooking, and finding new recipes for us to try. My husband and I enjoy going to MN Wild Hockey games in the winter.
Why Minnesota? I was born and raised in MN. My husband and I want to remain close to family, and we hope to stay in the metro area after fellowship. I choose MN because of the AMAZING faculty and staff that are a part of this program. I appreciate the depth of sport coverage we are involved in with this fellowship, including high school, Division III, Gopher sports and some professional team exposure. Another great aspect of this fellowship is the plethora of sports opportunities and community events to be involved in.
